Brighton Beach Cleanup Campaign Successfully Completed by Vishv Umiya Foundation CIC UK
Brighton, 25 August 2024 – The enchanting shores of Brighton Beach received a thorough cleaning yesterday when volunteers from the Vishv Umiya Foundation gathered for a beach clean-up campaign. The event was organized to promote environmental awareness and preserve the natural beauty of Brighton's coastline, engaging the community in an energetic and meaningful way.
Vishv Umiya Foundation CIC UK, known for its commitment to social and community welfare, spearheaded the clean-up drive as part of its environmental contribution. More than 100 volunteers, including families, students, and local community leaders, enthusiastically participated in the event, all united with the same goal of keeping Brighton Beach clean and pollution-free.
In the early hours of the morning, the volunteers set to work with gloves, garbage bags, and other hygiene equipment provided by the foundation. They cleaned up plastic bottles, discarded fishing gear, and other waste to preserve the beauty of the beach, collecting large amounts of garbage that can be harmful to marine ecosystems.
A spokesperson for the Vishv Umiya Foundation CIC UK thanked the community for their generous support and said, "We are delighted to see such support for this important work. Brighton Beach is a beloved part of our community, and we share a responsibility to keep it clean and safe. Reaching this stage of success would not have been possible without the contributions of all our volunteers."
During the event, the foundation also raised awareness among volunteers and beachgoers about the environmental impact of littering and the importance of sustainable practices. Information centers were set up on the beach to promote the habit of reducing plastic use and recycling.
The Vishv Umiya Foundation has demonstrated how community action can bring about meaningful change.
Following the completion of the cleanup campaign, volunteers gathered to celebrate their efforts and express their commitment to maintaining the cleanliness of Brighton Beach in the future.
The Vishv Umiya Foundation is planning to hold similar programs in other locations, encouraging more communities to participate in environmental conservation. This campaign is one of the foundation's many efforts towards a sustainable and clean future.
