Janmashtami, the day celebrating the birth of Lord Shri Krishna, the ruler of the world, is a joyous occasion for Sanatanis across the globe.

On 26th August 2024, Janmashtami was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Vishv Umiyadham, Jaspur, Ahmedabad. The Nandotsav was held at Vishv Umiyadham Smriti Mandir under the guidance of R.P. Patel, the founder and president of Vishv Umiya Foundation. The Krishna Janmotsav festivities began at 9 PM and continued until 12 AM, featuring a cultural program that included Ras Garba, Bhajan Mandal, and the Matki Fod ceremony at midnight. The entire temple complex resonated with the joyous sounds of "Nand Gher Anand Bhayo." A large number of Krishna devotees participated and were enriched by the event.

Despite the rainy weather, the staff of the organization, along with members of social and youth organizations, worked tirelessly to make the celebration a success. The organization extends heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed with their selfless service.
